Now Hiring: Lead Hand (Skilled Labourer)
- Position Type: Full-time, long-term opportunity
- Openings: 1
- Wage: $20–$27 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, up to 40 hours per week. Overtime only when authorized.
- Benefits: Extended health, dental, and vision care through our group benefits plan
What You’ll Do
- Operate construction tools such as grinders, saws, and drills with confidence
- Lead the job site crew, maintaining safety and active communication with other leads
- Read and interpret construction drawings to ensure accurate execution
- Adapt to on-site challenges and problem-solve proactively
- Perform installations and site setups as required
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and demonstrate strong hazard awareness
What We’re Looking For
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (work at multiple Winnipeg-area sites)
- Experience handling construction tools and understanding safety best practices
- Experience in residential construction is a strong asset
- Strong communication skills in English
- High level of safety awareness and problem-solving ability
- Required PPE: Hard hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and proper work clothing
